Account Manager (Bookings/Sales Team)
ICG Medical is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as an Account Manager for our nursing agency. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with healthcare facilities, as well as coordinating day-to-day bookings of nursing shifts. Your main objective will be to provide excellent customer service, retain clients, and ensure the smooth operation of our agency. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and relationship management skills, along with strong negotiation and sales abilities. As an Account Manager for a nursing agency, you will build strong relationships with healthcare facility clients and effectively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Understand clients' staffing needs and develop effective strategies to fulfill their requirements.
- Proactively address client concerns, resolving issues promptly and ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Regularly communicate with clients to assess their satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
Shift Booking Management:
- Coordinate and manage the daily booking of nursing shifts based on client requirements and nurse availability.
- Collaborate with our internal staffing team to efficiently match appropriate nurses to client shifts.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of shift bookings, including nurse assignments, client preferences, and special instructions.
Account Growth and Retention:
- Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and develop strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Conduct regular client reviews and propose value-added services to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and manage client contracts, renewals, and pricing negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with the internal staffing team to ensure the seamless delivery of nursing shifts to clients.
- Provide guidance and support to the staffing team in addressing any client-specific requirements or challenges.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on client performance, shift bookings, and key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of account management strategies.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data insights to make informed decisions and develop action plans to optimize client satisfaction and agency performance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
- Solid problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of the healthcare industry, nursing staffing, and scheduling practices is advantageous.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Revenue generated: The amount of revenue generated through the account manager's efforts.
- Client retention rate: The percentage of clients that the account manager is able to retain over a given time period.
- Client satisfaction score: A measure of how satisfied clients are with the services provided by the agency.
- Number of sales leads generated: The number of leads that the account manager is able to generate for the agency.
- Conversion rate: The percentage of leads that the account manager is able to convert into paying clients.
