Bid Manager

Opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join the team at ICG Medical.


The position will be a remote working role based in South Africa reporting to the Head of Marketing:


Key responsibilities:

  • To manage all existing client relationships alongside the BD, international and Compliance teams
  • To develop a suite of written content and branded collateral (within brand guidelines) that can be used to pitch for business
  • Applying for and managing accreditations and certifications for each location
  • Keeping on top of competitors and contracts that are in process
  • Identifying opportunities in the industry (with a particular focus on the USA & Canada) on which to submit a bid
  • Researching and investing into software/tools that could assist with winning business
  • Working within a budget attributed to each brand
  • Educating and rolling out a successful bid winning strategy
  • Researching, writing and/or checking proposals
  • Working with Solicitation Dept in the USA
  • Working alongside the marketing team to ensure consistency of brand
  • End to end management on bid submissions
  • Tracking business wins
  • Reviewing Terms of Business




  • 2-3 years Bid Management within the healthcare market with a focus on US/Canada business
