As a healthcare recruiter you are required to source and book nurses into shifts in the UK. You will be required to build an active pipeline of nurses and manage each relationship personally and their working needs so that when a shift or opportunity does become available, you will be able to quickly and accurately submit the candidate to the client and make a placement.
At ICG, credentialing and compliance are business critical. You will be required to ensure that the nurse/healthcare professional you source is fully compliant to work in the shift, state, role and country. You will work closely with the compliance team to ensure your candidates are compliant and cleared to work.
This job role will be reporting to our Greenstaff Medical UK Complex Care Division Quality Manager.
Please note: this role is based in the South of the UK, including South England, South Midlands, and South Coast.
Job Description
- To support the division in the day to day management of the packages of care within the community as directed by the QM and QA.
- To conduct quarterly spot checks with HCA’s and identify any training needs or concerns.
- To do 6 monthly care plan reviews as directed from the QA or sooner if the clients needs change
- To conduct quarterly competency checks to ensure staff are compliant within the package of care.
- FCS is to work closely with the Lead Nurse to ensure clinical competencies are maintained to a high standard and identify any additional training needs.
- Provide feedback to the QM to be included in the MDT meetings, team meetings and supervisions.
- Be flexible in your working environment as your job role will require you to be out in the community at different times. This may include weekends so that the business can capture HCA’s that are on shift that may not be available during the normal working week.
- To review and update risk assessments that are relevant to the POC.
- To assist the QA in ensuring all staff receive quarterly spot checks whilst on duty and quarterly supervisions.
- To attend family meetings in the absence of the QM.To ensure GDPR is maintained with all communication and report to QM/RM of any potential breach.
Experience/Skills Required
- Experience of working within children’s setting with challenging behaviour
- Experience working in complex care
- To be able to lead by example to the care staff of how they should be dressed/presented when working for Greenstaff. The field Care Supervisor is expected to uphold a Smart & professional appearance.
- NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience including supervising/managing staff
- Previous experience in a senior role
- Able to record, document, report accurately and timely whilst maintain a high level or organisation
- A natural engaging personality who has the ability to self-manage work load, with a drive to achieve high standards of care/documentation
- Can maintain professional relationships with staff whilst still holding them accountable for their standard of care
- Must have attention to detail in all aspects of their work
- Confident in taking ownership of concerns, whilst ensuring all relevant parties are made aware and kept up to date with developmentsUnderstand the need to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Full driving license
- Ability to respond at short notice should you be needed to cover a shift due to sickness
- Competent IT user across Microsoft platforms and other digital care planning systems currently being used
- Good understanding of CQC Regulations, Inspections process’ and able to uphold a high standard of care
