The purpose of the TA Manager SA & UK&I is to take full responsibility of talent attraction, recruitment and hiring outcomes in the South African and UK&I market including the management of a small team of 4-5 internal TA Specialists also onshore in South Africa. Our offices are based in Bellville, Cape Town and this role will be required to be based onsite (office). The successful candidate will be an experienced internal recruiter and manager that can deal with a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. Reporting into Global Head of Talent.

A TA Manager’s at ICG Medical are results-orientated, process driven, effective performers and leaders. As TA Manager you will be required to understand forecasted headcount for your market and key stakeholders, develop competitor and talent intel and pipelines, overall internal talent operations and performance management for your region, drive recruitment marketing and generate weekly and monthly reporting. At ICG Medical, our managers are hands-on, and you will also be required to recruit for Senior roles in your market.

We are not looking for a TA Manager that is an order-taker. Our TA Managers are talent advisors, strategic thinkers and operationally hands-on with their team and vacancies. You will be curious about talent supply and demand in your market. With an innate ability to link pipeline to hiring and onboarding. Delivering a world-class candidate experience. What differentiates you for the rest of the industry is the quality of the process that you deliver and manage from the team and business.

Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • TA strategy and delivery for talent in the SA & UK&I region, applying our global TA operating model
  • Full talent acquisition operations management for your market
  • Local TA management for US and UK international clients in SA and the UK&I
  • People management and coaching
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
  • Drive and lead workforce planning discussions
  • Market-related competitor research and talent mapping
  • Advising and leading employer branding and recruitment marketing opportunities
  • Analysing the usage and effectiveness of recruitment tools and local job boards/portals
  • Weekly and monthly TA metrics reporting
  • Managing the TA system, data integrity and GDPR compliance (or local privacy compliance)
  • Leading daily scrums
