ICG Journeys: Kushagra Wadhwa's big move to Canada!

You may remember a while back we interviewed one of our consultants Kushagra Wadhwa, Senior Sales Manager on his experience with ICG Medical/Greenstaff. You can read it here if you missed it.

Since then, Kush has recently made his official move to Toronto, Canada and is settling into his new life. We gave him a moment to get “official” and have asked him a few questions about his move.

Congratulations on your move to Canada! How has it been?

It has been a smooth transition. The city has a lot of diversity and smiling faces to offer. The timing of moving to Toronto couldn’t be better because it is the spring season!

How was the journey?

The journey was very comfortable and guess what? My cab driver at the airport was a part time nurse so I had a lot to offer to that conversation.

We spoke a while ago and you were getting ready to go, did Covid restrict your leaving date?

Not at all, I just had to show my ArriveCan app at immigration. Also, the Canadian immigration process is a bliss. I wish more countries would have such a smooth and sorted immigration procedure.

What did ICG sort for you i.e. plane tickets/accommodation?

I did not have to lift a finger for any bookings. My flight and accommodation were pre booked by ICG so all I had to do was take a cab from the airport and have a good night sleep after my flight.

What is the first place you are going to see?

The building where the series Suits was shot, I am a big fan of the show and an aesthete.

What is your plan for the next few months?

I plan to visit all the hospitals and nurses that have helped grow this division. I told our clients about my move and we are excited to meet each other. I got some gifts for them from back home and of course I am going to take some Tim Hortons.

Are you excited to see the Greenstaff/ICG team in Canada?

Yes, very excited to see Jay and Miranda who both live and work here. I have been working with them remotely for more than a year and meeting them should be fun. I am looking forward to getting to know them.

Anything funny happen on your journey?

The person sitting next to me was very convinced that he saw a UFO which led to our debate about Area 51 Conspiracy. That was quite fun!

Amazing! Wishing you the best of luck and success with your new life!
